Hello all, I have lurked for quite a while on this forum and learned soooooo much valuable info. about CRNA school. Thanks to all the vets and those who give valuable information out. I am here in Houston and was just wondering who is applying to UT Houston's CRNA program this year? The application deadline has passed and I am anxiously, hopefully awaiting an interview invitation and wanted to know who else is? Thanks!

Hi all, this is my first post on allnurses! This is a great site, and I'm happy to be a new member
Sugar Lump, I am also applying to UT-H NA program for 2010. Are you applying to other schools as well? From what I've heard, we won't hear back about interview invites until around Dec for interviews starting in Jan. Anyone feel free to correct me on that if my time frame is askew. I'm a little anxious too!
All the best!
Hey LoveSeacraft! Welcome. No, I think you are correct about the time frame of interview letters and interviews. We will just have to wait and keep each other posted. Hopefully, others will chime in. Are you from the Houston area?
Yep, born and raised in Houston! You?
I just received an interview invite in the mail today for January 21 @ 0830! I'm stoked!
I wasn't born in Houston, but have been here for the past 8 years or so. My interview is January 21st at 1000 am. I am so ready!!!!!!!! Good luck to you, and hopefully we will be classmates.
LoveSeacraft, where do you work if you don't mind my asking? I am at St. Lukes in the Med. Center.
Congrats on the interview! I know a couple folks who, to my surprise, were turned down for an interview. I'm close by at Hermann TMC. May we both be successful.
Why was it to your surprise? Why do you think they were turned down? Just wondering. Like, what were there stats, year of experience, etc. Absolutely, best of luck to us both.

They didn't get an interview because their GRE score requirement was not met (just barely.) But everything else seemed competitive for them. ???
