I just started nursing school, and my school is really nice and gives us each our own clinical kit that includes a steth, BP cuff, scissors and a penlight...the problem is, they're all the same!
Now, I don't know if I'll stay with the steth for long since we haven't actually used them yet...but until then, when we're in lab and such and I have 40 other people who have the same steth as me, what can I do to make mine stick out so I'm less likely to lose it?

put some lurid stickers on the tubing, cover them in sticky tape and you should have no problems.
The dynamo lablel is a good idea for when you buy a better scope, have it engraved as well.
And develop a habit NOW of either keeping it around your neck or putting it away safly. I didn't but someone is looking after my scope cause so far it always finds it way back to me.
Just like my night duty hoodie. I take it off to do pt care and forget where I left it. Was packing a pt up to go home the following week on day shift.............found it in her stuff. Best $15 hoodie ever from K mart. Has a homing instinct. :) :) Scissors and pens on the other hand..........can't keep a hold of them for a full shift!
