Who has been to keiser college? Did you like your stay? was it too expensive? Any info helps, Thanks!!!

If I'm not mistaken the first class of RN's have or are getting ready to graduate. I have heard from an instructor friend of mine that it seemed to be going just fine (of course the tell tale sign will be the results of the NCLEX). Personally, I don't have the $ to go to Keiser nor do I want student loans. If you have no other options then Keiser may be your answer.

I would not go to that school for the amount of money they ask for an associate's degree.

I know it's a private school, and I would pay $10K for the program, but $30K is ridiculous for an ASN, an a new RN program

But the wait is not that long compared to other cheaper programs... you get out much faster to make the "big money" and can start paying those loans...

"big money"

I just started my rn job, and it is not 'big money' at all. Prices of houses are so expenses, and plus all the other living expenses we have nowadays...... us RN's do not make 'big money'

I did this for the love of nursing, not for money at all.

i am going to start my program in september Keiser in orlando FL!!!

I do love Nursing and thank God with the shift differentials+weekend, i would be able to pay off my loan,... and stuff!!

RN does not make a lot of money but right know i make 2/5 of what an RN makes, and can struglle ok! so that will definately help!

main goal here CRNA!

my last semester of nursing school, I was paired up with a nurse who went to Keiser University, and she said they were strict, but treated the students with respect. I can't say that for my CC.

But she said that her loans were so expensive! $300/month! she did not sign a fixed rate loan.

anyways, she is getting her bsn online from jacksonville university.

Like I said before, I would just go to a CC. and did that.

Csantos, did you try VALENCIA CC??

i tried all of them, but so many stupid pre reqs that you dont need! they make you take, and also the classes schedule is no where near nice! they are very inconsistent at VCC and SCC i tried both and i am sure they have a great program, but it just wont work for me.... due to the fact that i need to work, i cant take crazy schedules, at least not until my clinicals

and at keiser the schedule is set already!

so lets see!

well yes it's not big money but its better than no money sitting around waiting to start school....

The program at Keiser is rigorous but it really does help with passing your boards, I took mine with about an hour of studying after graduation and passed with 75 questions, Keiser is hard but with good reason.
