Who all is waiting to apply/hear back for Fall 2012?

Hi. Just wondering who all is applying and when? One program's deadline is April 16th and the other program's deadline is May 30th. I am so tired of waiting! I am impatient lol. I figured we could all anxiously wait together! I should know something from both by the end of July- which seems SOOOO far away!! At least I have a full summer semester schedule ahead of me and two busy little boys to keep me occupied. So, hopefully the wait won't be too bad!

Hello everyone! I AM ON THE ALTERNATE LIST at Augusta State University! So I guess I will be waiting with you all. I could hear something back from the school as late as August 20th. But every student that has been accepted must send their acceptance letters in by April 20th in order to keep their spot. I hope someone decides not to come and I receive a call soon. Please keep me in your prayers and I will be praying for you all. Lets keep in touch and support each other...

I was playing the waiting game until today. I got my acceptance letter today and boy was I relieved! You try not to be anxious but you don't know until you get that letter in your hands whether you have made it in for sure and there is where the anxiety comes in. No matter how hard I tried, once I spotted the mailman, I could not help but linger by the front door waiting to get the mail out of the box for 2 whole weeks, lol. It's normal.

anyone else waiting for a letter from mira costa cc in calif? just curious if they've even been sent out yet. the letters are supposed to be sent by the end of april. these last couple of weeks are going by soooooo slooooow!!!

I'm waiting for my letter too. I emailed the program director at the CC I applied to and he said they've already sent out rejection letters so I'm definitely being thrown into the lottery. They said the lottery usually happens the first week of May so I should know in about 3 weeks give or take. Seems so far away but I've already waited this long.

For the CSU I applied its looking like the end of July that we find out.

I started application process on March 22 and yesterday, April 18, I was officially accepted. I was lucky though - the admission recruiter used her professional discretion and allowed me to skip 3 placement tests based on my 86 past credit hours towards B.A. in Psychology. I only had to do TEASV test amongst a bunch of other stuff - shots, drug screen, background check, paperwork. It was highly stressful. When I went to get my MMR2, my BP was 178/110. Bad I know but I was busting my hump to get the admission process over with = the "to do" list was SO LONG. Anyhow, that's how long it took me - just under a month. I attend orientation/registration in May and school starts in August. It's funny how we are all just so excited and want to start RIGHT NOW! I know the feeling!!

Agreed ! The deadline for my program was April 15, I just keep checking the mail every day waiting for a letter, even though I know they announced letters to be sent out Mid-May. XD
