Who is taking A&P1 with me this summer? I'm excited but scared at the same time because it's a lot to know in such a short time!

I took A&P 2 Summer 2012. It was a very intense 4 week course. I have 5 kids (was a SAHM at the time) and passed with a A-. If I can do it, so can you. Just know it will consume your life. You will eat breath sleep A&P. I found A&P 1 more difficult than A&P 2 but that is because I had a better A&P 2 professor. Good luck :)

I'm taking a&p1 this summer then I'm taking microbiology.in the second summer session and anatomy 2 in the fall. It's alot but so excited and nervous at the same time.

Just decided to drop Statistics and take A&P 1 this summer. I am pregnant with two kids. I hope it will be doable.

I will also be taking A&P 2 and Micro-biology in Fall. I will be due in October and the fall semester will be over in December, any advice for me out there?

OR

Should I go ahead with Statistics and Life Span and Development in Fall (for BSN application in fall 2014) or would you rather I drop the stat and register for A&P this summer so as to apply for ADN in Jan 2014?

It seems like having a baby in the middle of a semester would be pretty tough! If it were me, I would try and take my easiest classes during that time.

You are right, but that means I will have to skip another year. Besides, statistics isn't that easy too. I will check with the school to see if its possible to break the fall semester in 2 terms coz I overheard that from one of the school advisors.

Thanks.

I am taking A&P II in the summer and Micro in the Fall. Then it's onto studying for the TEAS!

I would like to take anatomy, physiology, and micro...What is the best sequence to take together? I know taking all 3 is tough so I'll go with 2 this summer then 1 in fall...Let me know world

You will need to take A&P 1 as a prereq for A&P 2 and Micro-biology.

I will suggest you take A&P 1 for summer, then the other two for fall (A&P 2 and Micro), that will also make you do better in the A&P 1 because of the less work load, and since its in such a short period.

If you don't need A&P 1 as a prereq for the other two then you can do it the other way round by taken the one you think is most flexible for summer.

HTH?

I am taking A&P this summer! I feel the same way! I am glad to be getting it over with but very nervous about the fast track part! Good luck to you!

what is everyone doing to prepare?

So far I've memorized the basic bones of the skeleton (including bones in skull) but to bony "landmarks" I've also memorized some muscles but no origins or anything like that. I've also read through chapter 3 and trying to make sure I'm able to answer the chapter tests in the book. We're covering chapters 1-12 in A&P I so I'm trying to get a head start so it's not so foreign to me.

That's good. I just registered for A&P 1 today. What materials are you using to prepare ahead for the course?
