Who interviewed at UTHSC Houston?

Soooo. . . Had my interview at uthsc houston. . . didn't feel that it went horrible, but honestly I have no idea how it went really. Everybody was nice, so like I said it wasn't horrible. And for sure if I have to interview there next year (preparing myself for the worst) I'll be much more relaxed and confident after having already done it once :) Who else had interviews? how did you think it went? while I was there I kept wondering if I'd 'met' any other applicants before via the chat rooms. Ah, then anonymity (spell?) of the internet. This one was fairly light on clinical I thought, so now I'm REALLY nervous about other interviews. YIKES!

I think mine says provisional because they haven't gotten the transcript with my completed Organic on it. Time to call the registrar!

does anyone know what provisional admission means?! Ive been freaking out thinking its conditional on something and the letter hasn't come yet, I called last week and they wouldnt tell me anything other than I'd have to find out once I got my letter...aaah!!!! Glad I found this site at least and see that someone else's utlink says t he same thing!!

I don't know. I got in down the road from there:wink2: Maybe they are missing some transcripts or immunization records or soemthing like that?

Have a friend in grad school (not CRNA) and he got something like a provisional admission (or conditional? can't remember exact words) and it was because his GPA was just under what they would have liked. So he had to make good grades and prove he was ready for grad school to stay in. And he's doing wonderfully, by the way

Strange that they won't tell you what it means. But on the bright side, if it were a big deal surely they would have told you something by now. So maybe it's not big deal. Good luck and see you around the med center hopefully! And do tell us what the provisional things means when you find out. :typing

Why don't you either call or email the program director? Have you received any of the emails he has been sending (two or three so far I think) over the last few weeks about summer registration? I'm guessing that would be the best person to answer your questions.

i called a few times last week so i dont wanna bug anyone, it says my acceptance letter is in the mail, im just anxious to know why it says provisional thats all....what do his emails say ? I don't think they have my email

So on UTLink, mine says, "You have been admitted to the program for the term shown above"... I applied for the bacc2 program. Does this mean that I've been accepted?

I called UTHSC, and they won't give me a definite answer, they just say I will have to wait and see if I get an official letter. I've been checking the mail religiously ever since my interview last month... and this makes me really nervous! I was so excited that I got in... but now I'm doubting if what this says ^^ even means that I was accepted at all. Will someone please help?

Has anyone else gotten this same message as me, and then later gotten an acceptance letter? Or gotten this same message and NOT been accepted?
