Hi all!

Anyone out there taking Micro this quarter?? I am and so far its pretty hard! Thought we could start a thread about our micro experiences...I had my first test today and it was soo hard over 80 questions.....ugh...we had to grow some smelly bacteria this week too....My instructor is not very good at lecturing and forgets to actually lecture then she just expects you to know it....how am i supposed to know what hemolysis is if you dont tell me! im done with micro, thank goodness...my unknown went without a hitch..i actually have one online test left to take and if I get a 0 on it I will still have an 82% yay:) so i'll prob do it tonight and then NO MORE MICRO!!!

just some advice though....ive been taking micro and AP2 at the same time that I started my direct entry masters of nursing program at a different school....so ive been taking pathopysiology, pharmacology, micro and AP2 (and other nursing courses) at the same time....and let me tell you, you think youve done away with micro but suprise there it is allll over patho and pharm! At first I thought I was so unlucky to be one of the only ones in my program still finishing up prereqs but it has helped me tremedously bc everything is sooo interrelated....so moral of the story, study your micro and dont forget it!!!!!

I am also taking Microbiology this summer.

I am finding very difficult. The professor is very tough.

Maybe I shouldn't be taking it in the summer as it is very condensed.

I was wondering if anyone else's professor if making you learn every single species of every single genera of every single bacteria.....

I knew it would be tough, but this is crazy!

we had to know pretty many but we worked with a lot of the same ones in lab over and over again so it helped alot...you just kinda start remembering...if you need any help id be glad to help! i have some power point slides and study guides if any one would like to see them just let me know!
