Hi everyone! This is my first post on this site, so I hope I am doing this correctly. I am a little confused as to the requirements for " courses in progress." Maybe someone can help me.
I am currently taking my 2nd to last nursing prereq: Anatomy and Physiology part 1 (5 credits) this semester, and part 2 (5 credits) I will take in the SPring of 2013.? Does the fact I technically will have 2 courses in progress disqualify me for applying this app period for the Fall 2013 cohort? I am applying to CSULB, SDSU, SFSU, CSUC, and CSUS most likely.
If it does, that means I will have to wait until the following Spring or Fall depending on the state budget. It just doesn't make sense because I will have all my classes done by next Spring, and won't be enrolled in classes for a whole year while I wait. Does everyone have to do that?
I agree with all the other advice; it depends on the school. Double check with your target schools and see what they tell you. My main target school requires pre-requisite courses are completed prior to application. After I finish Micro this semester, I'll be applying in January for Fall 2013.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone!
I got a 91% on Teas, I hope that is competitive enough for the schools I am applying for.
And I looked into SDSU and I guess you are not allowed even ONE course in progress during the Spring semester to apply for the Fall semester. That is not the case with CSULB,CSULA, CSUChico and CSUS. So I am focusing on those 4 schools right now. I sent in the app for CSULA already so now is just the loooong waiting process.

I want to take it kinda early because the school takes the best grade. If I dont do so good on the first try I can take it again before I apply.
