White Scrubs - CNA Clinicals

Published

For my upcoming CNA classes, we have to wear white uniforms. I was just wondering if anybody could give me any tips on what to wear under my uniform?

Nudes! I personally think granny panties are the good way to go- conservative. You can totally tell when someone wears a thong and to me that is trashy. All the white tops I own were good fabric and not sheer enough to show any under garments. With a couple of my more fitted tops I would wear a cami or tank top underneath just to be safe.

Yup a skin tone (whatever yours is) bra and or tank top, and large undies. I don't think you need granny panties, but like boy cut underwear.

LOL I remember a girl showing up in a hot pink thong and being sent home from clinicals in the second semester and the class never let her for get it.

The first two comments were spot on, the quality of the scrubs will definitely "reveal" their worth. Nothing is more annoying than being able to see the butterflies on undies!

Yes, a pair of bikini undies dotted with red hearts, worn under white uniform pants was the inspiration for the rule in our Dress Code for #11.) No inappropriate underwear. The employee who could not (she said) understand all the fuss, was sent home to change.

I've actually been good with grey. I like the Nike Combat Pro compression shorts (no wedgies, full coverage and you can't see it -- they're expensive but they last FOREVER). I also wear a sports bra underneath in whatever color (usually grey) and you can't see it because I wear a thermal underneath the top and the extra layers cover everything. I like the sports bra because there's no bra straps to mess with or slip or bug me and I'm comfortable for the entire day.

Definitely DON'T wear white underwear. That shows up way too clearly underneath even the thickest of white scrubs. Wear beige (bra and panties) or brown if your skin color is dark.

Skin color full coverage panties. I also wear a pair of white leggings (or bike shorts if the weather is warm) because I'm just that funny about people seeing my butt. We've had people wear thongs and inappropriate colors, but honestly the worst is when people don't wear undies.

OMG. Now that you mention it, I remember seeing a nurse in white uniform pants who very obviously wore no undies and she had a generous amount of dark pubic hair. I was stunned. She couldn't have NOT known, so I don't know what her deal was; guess she was an exhibitionist of sorts. Totally inappropriate and unprofessional!

With the personnel who wear thongs, aside from how attention-grabbing it looks, I can't help thinking, "That CAN'T be comfortable!"

Isn't it horrifying? Just, pubic hair in everyone's face. :-(

I too am one of those who can't see the point of thongs. Having something in one's buttcrack all day just seems like it would be really annoying.

Nude colored undies and bra. I always wear a sports bra to work. Super comfy all day long.

wow. *drags out a bottle of brain bleach*

Can't (mentally) un-see that.

Please tell me a supervisor addressed this problem?
