White Memorial New Grad (Versant) Residency March 2015

U.S.A. California

I decided to start a thread for those that have applied to the White Memorial Medical Center New Grad program for March 2015. Good luck to everyone that applied!

Haven't received an email but I'm being hopeful for tomorrow! Congrats to those who got emails and good luck to us who are still waiting.

I submitted the questionnaire the day after we received them. I too went to the Pasadena Career Fair, and the recruiter that I spoke with said that they are sending invites Mon/Tue of this week and then also continuing after Thanksgiving so there is still a lot of time! Also, from my understanding, the first panel interview is not necessarily unit specific. The recruiter described it as the "benchmark" interview and then they decide units from there. I hope this helps!

Congratulations OH Nurse14!!! That's awesome! Thank you so much for sharing. When is your interview scheduled for?

I just received an invite for an interview!!!!! the first week of December

Congrats Semarjrn! What unit did you apply for?

I received a phone call today around 3pm for an interview next week in the emergency department. Did people receive emails?

So according to some post in facebook, there is still making phone calls

Hey guys! Newbie allnurses member here :)

Thanks for starting this thread!

To answer a previous post - I was emailed last week about an interview so I guess they are doing both emails and calls? Maybe ED is calling and others are emailing? I dunno.

Anywho, I just had my panel interview today and I could not have been more nervous :/ but they were all really sweet and welcoming!

I also didn't get the impression that they were done calling/emailing so don't give up hope :)

Thanks for the updates. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for theinfo and food luck , hope you get the job, but if they are having interviews this week I think they are done done calling people. Better to know now and move on, that to keep a false hope.

I wouldn't automatically jump to that conclusion. It depends on what unit you applied for. I have only seen interviews for the ED department.

I just received a call today around 2pm for a panel interview this week. They did not specify a unit, but they did ask me what my top two preferences are. Don't lose hope!! They are still calling! :)

For those who have already had their panel interview - how was it? How many people were there? Any tips?

Thank you and good luck everyone!!
