I really tried to find other threads here and elsewhere before posting.
I am from Minnesota, I have my associate degree RN and want my BSN to be able to go onto CRNA. what schools (that are NLN or regionally certified for Minneapolis School of Anesthsia) are affordable, good, easily attanable online, resonably short program? No one has yet to compare and contrast the schools. ANY ADVICE?
i am strongly considering this program. do you have any clinical requirements ?
the clinical requirements are that u get a preceptor bsn prepared or higher, and you kinda collaborate.this comes in handy when doing paperwork.the preceptor/mentor sign a paper that they agree to be your preceptor or mentor, and at the end of the course they evaulate uand you fax the forms.
Thanks everyone, because I have been beating my head againsyt the wall trying to find a reasonable RN-BSN online school. Im really disappointed, because they are pushing for us to get our BSN but it's so expensive, and you get very little help from your job. Also, you make to much to get a Grant.
Does anyone have any information/feedback about Chamberlain College of Nsg online program? I know that there are NO clinical requirements and that it only takes a year or less if you have several credits to transfer in like stats etc. I haven't heard any reviews on the program and was wondering if anyone else has before I start in March.

I will be attending University of Maryland RN to BSN program online for Spring 2008. Its expensive, $9700/semester but its only 2 semesters. There was a cheaper college that i was interested in but i would have to attend 3 semesters including summer and they required 15 extra credits plus the nursing class in order to graduate. UMD was upfront with what classes you need to have in order to enter their program and they accepted my chemistry, economics and math classes from 1977. They are heavy on humanties courses for transfer. I know it wont be easy but i am looking forward to starting classes. Any nurses on this forum that will be starting or have finished the program-Can we talk.
have you looked into texas tech online rn to bsn program. it is 2 semesters as well and much cheaper than uom.

i have accepted admission to umd but i went to texas tech website and checked out the prerequisites and they were similiar to umd but they required 6 credits in history or political science and i dont have those. thoughout the yrs i have been taken courses here and there and they fit right into umd requirements. i applied on dec 14 and recieved my acceptance a wk later. some schools you have to take certain courses, then you have to apply to the nursing college. i hope it will go well for me.
well good luck to you. i had to take all that junk (history and political science) for my associate degree. i am still looking around and checking out programs.
