Personally I would recommend the entry level MSN, you already have a bachelors so why get another? If the CRNA thing falls through then you at least still have your masters in nursing instead of just a bachelors.
I've been wondering the same thing as the OP....but your advice about the MSN doesn't take into account that the BSN programs that exist for people w/ a previous bachelors are accelerated (1yr). At that point, you can either get experience as an RN or apply straight into a masters program.
Any thoughts on this anyone?
Hi I to am pursuing the route of CRNA. I already have a bachelors in a science field and am currently in an ADN program. If u go online n talk to the schools most of them require either an RN license and a bachelors in a science/health related field and others require a BSN. So I would say get either your ADN or BSN but not the masters entry if ultimately want to become a CRNA.

Hi to everyone!!!
I'm new here and I have a major question(s) about what to do now.
Background: I will graduate from UC Berkeley with a BS in Molecular Toxicology next spring.
Main career goal: Be a CRNA
Question: What should I do after I graduate? Really, the main requirements that I need to go for a Master's in Nursing Anesthesia is to be an RN and thus get experience in a critical care unit. However, I'm so confused and unsure of whether to go for an Accelerated BSN, an entry-level MSN, or just go for the ADN and then get experience.
Any information would be great and very very much appreciated.
Thank you :)
