I've been a LVN/LPN for 6 years. The last 4 years I've worked in a neurologist's office. It's been great, but the Doc I work for is about to retire, so a new job search must commence. I'm wondering, where's the best place to start searching? There are about a billion different websites out there listing positions but which are the the best?

I've always had luck with applying to the doctor's offices within large hospital systems, that way you can apply to all the openings your interested in without having to type in all of your information over and over. You could try Internet job boards, like careerbuilder, but they get thousands of apps so I have never had luck with that. Most of the time I would look at who the hiring place was and just apply directly to their website instead of careerbuilder. Good luck although you should have no problems getting a job with your experience!

my favorites are bright and simplyhired I got job posting every day and they gather them from all over the internet and you can set up the alerts as you wish like how far from home you are willing to go and the cities. You can also check craigslist

You can use things like Monster, Careerbuilder, Indeed, etc. I would however apply on the actual website of the company vs the job search website.

I agree with previous post to a point; recruiters look on job search websites for resumes as well. Also post your résumé on LinkedIn. I have gotten connections from recruiters through the career site.
