Hello,

Help me! I'm a paramedic with one semester left on his associate's RN degree and I am stumped on a research assignment. I am trying to find a website that lists how many nurse practitioners are in each state. So far I've only found the national amount and the Indiana statistics. Please help me.

Just a thought. Maybe go to each states Board of Nursing website.

I know my state does not have an updated list of NPs online. Last update online was 2001.........

Have you tried the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners? http://www.aanp.org

Or American College of Nurse Practitioners http://www.nurse.org/acnp

I wandered around those sites awhile back and I found something about ea state. Its been so long, I dont remember exactly where it was.

Hope those sites help.

Good links, but, some NPs are RNPs ...... not classified as APNs and they normally are not listed on these sites.........
