I missed 2 classes today. Forgot to set up my alarm. The worst part was that today I had an exam. I can't make it up and now I have a 0 for that exam.. Me and my classmate got into a LITTLE argument (through text) and she made it a big deal so it turned out to be a big one and now it's going to be extremely awkward when I see her in school. . Me and my boyfriend is still on a break and I miss him. !! . It's been like 3 days. I have another exam to study for tomorrow but I just don't feel like doing it because I feel this way. I feel like I'm at the bottom of the well and nobody cares about me. I try to read a book and get things off my mind but I just can't. The thing that is bugging me the most is the exam I missed. My day couldn't get any worse. I have so much work to do other than study for the exam tomorrow but I need a push...

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through so much... of course you can vent!
What do you think about speaking privately with your professor about the missed exam. They may not allow you to retake it, but they would know the reason behind it, and perhaps could respect you more in the long run for admitting what happened. I'm sure it's happened to a lot of people.
I hope things get better for you. Don't give up on tomorrow's exam because of what happened today. Ignore the classmate tomorrow, take your exam, and then perhaps you two can have a heart-to-heart.

Since this is still near the beginning of the term, you can probably drop the class where you missed the exam. Most of the time a 0 can not be made up. I had a missed exam and my instructor was nice enough to allow the next exam to make up for it. I don't know what I did on that test (it was the final), but I must have bombed it, because my final grade dropped an entire letter grade. If you can drop the class, I would very much consider this route if I were you. You need to get your mind where it needs to be. Arguments with friends and boyfriends are taking up too much of your mental energy. I am sure that you know this. Good luck.

You're free to vent here, but if you don't use proper punctuation, spelling, and semi-coherent paragraphs, I'm not going to read it.
As for your actual problem: welcome to adulthood. It's like high school, except that a marginally larger percentage of adults have gotten over themselves and act reasonable in social situations.

Wow that was a little vicious... you must be having a bad day too.
OP, you said your day couldn't get any worse. It could. Please put your issues into perspective. Nobody died or got injured, it's a test. Yes, it's quite serious, but fixable. Swallow your pride when you see your friend and explain you were having a bad day. Sometimes it's hard to separate your personal and professional life, but it's necessary to succeed in both.

Please, "don't sweat the small stuff." by anonymous. Of course nothing that you are going through is "small stuff" but if you think of it this way then it will be easier to deal with. So I hope you studied for your exam and that it went well. This is an obstacle.....you can hurdle it!!! Obstacles hinder not stop progress. I hope that you refocus yourself and let this be motivation for other obstacles that you may run into.
Thanks for all the encouraging comments. I did not drop out of that class because it was only worth a quiz grade. I was just having a bad day and I woke up to a brand new day.
