Hi,
I am new here & a newly licensed LPN (3/2010) who has been unsuccessful in finding work.
There is not much here in West TN so I was thinking that IV certification on my resume might help
set me apart from the competition. Does anyone know where I can go to take IV certification courses
either in Tennessee or Kentucky? I will pay out of pocket...if it's not too expensive.
Thanks for any help or advice.

Look at taking IV/Infusion Therapy courses online - http://www.quipsites.com/Pedagogy/Home.aspx/?campaign=allnurses
Basics in Peripheral IV Therapy in Adults
There are currently three available classes and you receive a certificate of completion once done and the appropriate credit hours per course. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Worth taking a look! If you have questions, there is a phone number on the site or send to [email protected]
Thanks!!

Tennessee Technology Center at Covington is about to offer IV classes this summer.
Thanks- as a graduate of a TTC school that option sounds great. I hope I can just get in now.
Thank you again. ( fingers crossed)
