  1. I have seen a few nurses at the hospital that I worked at with small tattoos on the hand. It was not made to be a big deal, they were not bold or eye-catching and we had so much work to do that it was not thought about much. One nurse did say that she wore scar make-up to her interview to hide her tat. DON'T LET A TATTOO STOP YOU IF YOU FEEL NURSING IS YOUR CALLING.

  3. Hi, I am new here & a newly licensed LPN (3/2010) who has been unsuccessful in finding work. There is not much here in West TN so I was thinking that IV certification on my resume might help set me apart from the competition. Does anyone know where I can go to take IV certification courses either in Tennessee or Kentucky? I will pay out of pocket...if it's not too expensive. Thanks for any help or advice. Payson
