Let me provide you with a little insight. Take the job. Any job. You need to get experience under your belt and beggars can't be choosers. I started at a pediatric clinic, went to an LTAC facility, on to pediatric home health, back to a pediatric facility, back to pediatric home health, and worked on a pediatric unit, med/surg unit, PCU in a level 2 trauma hospital... all as an LVN. I have trained many RN's. I am currently working towards my RN because I have reached the limits of my title and don't like the glass ceiling I have created for myself. I pushed the envelope with my title. If you want to get to the top of the ladder you have to take the lowest step first. Take the LTAC job. You'll learn a lot!

I will be graduating in a little over 5 weeks. I have been searching for jobs online and starting to get worry. I don't want to work in LTC, hospice or home health. I also don't want to work 5 8's in a clinic. Is there anywhere else in the DFW area that hire LVNs?
