Here's a question to people who have completed one of WGU's online nursing programs within the past few years. When did your unofficial transcripts become updated to reflect completion of your BSN or MSN degree? Was it instantaneously after passing the last course, or did it take several weeks or months?
I'm asking because I'd like to submit my application to the graduate degree program at EMSU sooner rather than later. Thanks in advance. :)

I think it was instantaneous, but I can't swear on it. I think you would be fine submitting your application now (man, take a breath!).
Congrats, btw!!

CONGRATS in advance. My transcript was updated on the date of degree conferral. So if you pass your class, the mentor sends you an application for graduation, then it's a day or two before it's 'official'. Then in about a week you get diploma and two sealed transcripts.
Thanks!

You should be clear to submit your EMSU application. Simply wait until your transcript is updated to submit the actual transcript request.
It is not instantaneous upon completion of the last requirement. But, it is very fast. I don't remember the exact timeframe for my BSN, but I submitted for my MBA-HM graduation on 3/9/15 and my transcript shows the degree being awarded 3/10/15. It did not say anything about the degree being awarded when I checked the transcript prior to the graduation application.
If it takes more than a week after you've applied for graduation, I would email your student mentor. Also, although I congratulated you in your other thread -- congrats!

Thanks for the info. :)
