When and where to take the TEAS!

I need to have my application for the spring ready in June so I started looking for TEAS testing and I'm running into a lot of trouble. I'm looking at ATI testing and am not sure if there are other companies out there that put them on.

The problem is that I live way up north and am currently taking classes and with all test sites being very far away, I would have to miss class to take it. I already missed A&P once to take my CNA test and don't want to miss it again. Out of the many test dates out there, it seems only about 4 are on a Saturday and they are all sold out at this time. Everything else is during the week at a time that I would end up missing class in order to make the drive, which is looking like 2-4 hours.

Will there be more test dates available in May? I'm done with school by May 8 so it would be great if I could do it then but the dates that are coming up only go through May 1. If test dates to come available for mid May, is that enough time in advance to get it onto my applications?

Ugh I hate living up here :( I think there normally are some tests up here but the nursing school apps for the two schools up here were both due in March so I don't think they bother with it at other times of the year.

I don't know where you are, but I can tell you that the ATI site lets you search for test locations by city. For example, there is a test in Brainerd on 5/23. I suggest searching for locations near you to see if there is a date that works with your schedule.

Yeah I took mine in Arizona and it all worked out fine for me. You can take it anywhere they offer it. As peanut, above said search the ATI website. Good luck!
