When should I schedule? Starting 6 week fellowship soon.

I'm staring a 6 week OR fellowship starting in two weeks.

I just got my ATT.

I'm just scared of failing it and not being able to finish the program...

But on the other side, I can't be accept a permanent position at the end of the program if I don't have an RN license.

I really don't even want to chance testing while in the program because honestly I need all 6 weeks of pay....

But I also need a permanent position....

If I were you I would schedule my nclex in 4 weeks. I just wrote it and found out I passed. I highly suggest Uworld, its an In expensive question bank that gives all the content you need in the rationales. I did all of their questions only supplementing with textbooks when I didn't understand something and I passed in 75 questions! If you study everyday and you understand the core content you will pass!!

Remember, my opinion is worth what you paid for it....

last summer, I had an externship. I was so busy and so tired at the end of my 12 hr shifts and even the next day, there's no way I could have studied effectively. So, I'm going to say schedule the NCLEX for right before the fellowship starts and then hit the books HARD, like full time, over the next two weeks.

If it were me I would take the NCLEX after the fellowship when I can be fully rested & devote enough time to studying as I can. That way I can pass the NCLEX the first time & get a job. I wouldn't want to fail the NCLEX & lose the fellowship either. So that's what I think.
