When do I apply to nursing school?

i'm a freshman in college and about to start my second semester in spring '10.i have no clue as to when i should start applying.should i apply after all my pre-reqs are done or before then?i'm going to apply to uf,fsu,um,nova,and fscj(safe school).so when do i apply?thanks!!!!!

Start applying during the last semester of your prereqs. Most universities will allow you to apply during your last semester of prereqs because you should be done with them by the time you begin NS. As long as they see on your transcript that you are enrolled in the last few classes you need, it should not be a problem!

Check with your schools. Mine does not require you complete the pre-reqs before going to NS if you are applying for the ASN program. You can complete them while you are in NS. So it is all subjective to your school. Just check to see what the require you have completed before applying and before you would start NS then check to see when their application deadline is for the semester that you want to start. Again every school is different so you should check with admissions at every school.
