hmmm.. I in the same boat. Supposedly they are posting a tenative schedule this Friday since we are in our 2nd yr of the 2yr program but this is NS and things can change overnight. That is the one thing I wish I could change is giving us our schedules in advance (more than a few days notice) so figuring out my schedule for my full time job would be easier = less stress

I started nursing school on 25th and we were given our entire schedule in July. My clinical day is Fri from 6am to 6.30pm. We have to go the day before to pick our patient.
Right now we have 3, 12hr lab days to get ready for the clinicals, apart from regular lecture days on Tues and Wed. From 8th Sept we will follow the regular schedule.
One thing I can say is that, our college is really very good about keeping the students informed. They give/tell things well in advance and I'm thankful for that.

This is semester 3 of 4! We are doing Psych, Peds, and more med/surg for our rotations this semester. Oh, we also have a few days scheduled for "community health nursing."

I have 8 weeks at a long term elderly care facility. Then 3 weeks at a perioperative center. I am nervous about the gerontology rotation, but I am excited to get to interact with patients of any sort :).

I'm on the Med Surg Floor and will be doing at some point I think I'll be doing some surgical rotations.
I'm with most of you guys though. The school really doesn't give us much in the way of advanced notice, but to their credit, they attempt to work w/ student scedules as much as possible.

Last semester for me!
My clinical rotation is oncology/hematology/gynecology (yes all on the same floor )
PLUS, I get 2 clinical days in the ICU and 2 clinical days in the ER...I am soooo excited!
Then I have a preceptorship but that hasn't been announced yet. My top 2 choices are Postpartum/Newborn and Pediatrics. Here's crossing my fingers I get one of them! :)
