I have been being optimistic of getting into the nursing program. I will definitely try my very best to get A's(going good so far),I also plan on getting my CNA and doing volunteer work at a LTC, but I want to have a plan B. I think my plan B will be healthcare Administrator------do you have a plan B???
When I was just starting out in nursing school, I used to say after every exam, "Yep, I'm gonna be the proud owner of a cupcake shop." I even had a few names picked out. I graduated with a 4.0 cum laude in nursing. I don't know what I would do now . maybe fashion and make up school. I'd audition for Face Off. Of course, I'd be the first to go. Hahaha
Plan A: Get into an ADN than to RN-BSN Completion -> MSN (than maybe a DNP?)
Plan B (year from now if denied from ADN) Apply to BSN -> MSN (than maybe a DNP?)
Plan C (if denied from BSN) Transfer anyway, major in Health Studies: Health Administration/Public Health than possibly enroll into an ABSN after 4-Year degree
Plan A is my cheapest route, so I pray I get in for this Spring !
I don't really have a plan B, I guess.
I suppose by next year, I'm hoping to be accepted into a nursing program for my BSN. I have this entire year (plus summer term) to boost my grade-point average so I can make myself as competitive as possible. Should that not work out, I'll probably see if I can get into a LPN program of some sort and work my way up from there.
If anything, I might end up on an alternative list. If that's the case, I'll spend the wait on working on my CNA certification and such.
