whats your plan B

Published

I have been being optimistic of getting into the nursing program. I will definitely try my very best to get A's(going good so far),I also plan on getting my CNA and doing volunteer work at a LTC, but I want to have a plan B. I think my plan B will be healthcare Administrator------do you have a plan B???

I don't have a plan B......

If by chance nursing didn't work out...I'm not sure what I would do

Specializes in Hospice, Palliative Care.

Good day, mbtsab:

Plan A -> A.D. RN, then BSN, then MSN

Plan B--> LPN, LPN to RN bridge, then BSN, then MSN

Plan C --> Teacher

Thank you.

My backup plan if nursing doesn't pan out for me is to get a bachelor's in Equine Science. I wouldn't mind becoming a stable manager and a riding instructor, OR revamp the family business which was breeding, training and racing Thoroughbreds. The latter I'm planning to do anyways regardless where my career takes me.

Right now my plan B is to apply to other schools. My university's program is great but I don't think it's worth applying to over and over again when I have the grades to get in somewhere else. If I don't get in anywhere else I'd get my degree in Human Development and Family Studies before applying to my current university's nursing program as a 2nd degree seeking student because they give priority to them.

Really hoping nursing comes through though.. *sigh*

Plan A - LVN, ADN RN, BSN, MSN

Plan B - Work as LVN then do PT school

I do not have a plan B, I am going to be a nurse!!!

Plan A: ADN, MSN

Plan B: ADN, BSN, MSN

Either way, I will end up with an MSN.

I don't have a plan B either. I'm putting all my apples in one basket here.

My plan B is to either finish my degree in English or Photography... I really, really, really, really want my plan A though :)

I am absolutely going to attain my RN.

But should something happen I'm also interested in dental hygiene, engineering, accounting, dietetics, computer science.

I don't have a plan b. Nursing is what I wanted to do since I was 18. First year I could qualify for loans.
