Any Robert Morgan LPN students/graduates?
Hello, my experience at this school has been nothing but great. I cannot speak for the other instructors but mine is great and very knowledgeable. Clinicals are typically done at Perdue but sometimes we go to east ridge. Both places are very close to the school. 4 months is not long of a wait at all. Trust me when you start you'll wish you could take a break lol. The work is tough but doable and you must stay on top of your studies. I say if you want it go for it.

Any Robert Morgan LPN students/graduates?
Hi BDiddy16 I am currently in the nursing program at Robert Morgan. My class started in January but I didn't start until feb 24th because I already had my CNA certification. From what I was told, they had clinicals during core. We are currently in intro to nursing and we have clinicals 3 days a week until the 24th. There was a class that started a week ago with Mrs Patterson, I'm assuming you're in that class?

LPN Traning is it hard? Any tips
I just started my LPN program almost three weeks ago. In those three weeks I've had four test. This week I will have another four test. I go to a technical college so right now we are doing anatomy and physiology. Is it hard yes, is it doable yes! My overall percentage right now is an 86 and I work full time nights with two children. It's a lot of work but if you want it, then fight for it!

8 or 12 hour shifts
I am a CNA working at a hospital. I've only been here a month and I absolutely positively hate 12 hour shifts. I honestly wish I would have stayed at the nursing home!

can I do it?

can I do it?
I have two children as well and they are exactly the same ages as yours. although I did graduate from high school, I was quite the under achiever. I did not apply myself at all, I just did the bare minimum to get by. when I first started my journey to become a nurse I was scared. a month before my first semester started I kept doubting myself I would tell myself there is know way that I could become a nurse. the night before my first semester started I was still thinking this way, that is until I looked at my children and decided right then and there that I could and would do anything to insure that my children have the life that I did not have. long story short, I just finished up my third semester of prereqs and I have two more to go before I can apply to my program. I have received nothing but A's and B's on the courses that I have taken so far. every time I walk into a classroom, take a test, and even do my homework I think of my children and they give me the only motivation I need to push forward. in a nut shell what I am trying to say is, you already have two great reasons as to while you can and will succeed. just believe in yourself and never give up!!!

Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program
Thank you. I did see those but I will be more specific. the school that I am currently attending will not allow you take a class like college algebra unless you (a) test out of it or (b) if you do not test out of it, there are up to three math classes you must take before hand. it all depends on your placement test. so basically I am wondering are there any classes that you are required to take before you can take the classes in the link you just posted. sorry I just saw the full comment.

Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program
hello ladies, I was wondering if anyone can give me the list of the requisites( the classes that are required before you can take your nursing prereqs). I have looked in the catalogs and I can not seem to get a hold of anyone that can help me. I currently live in California so I cannot go there myself. I am currently in school so I cannot send my transcripts until this semester is over. Thank you.

transfering to miami dade
hello all, I currently live in California, due to my husband being in the military. long story short, we are moving back to Florida next year in may. The CC that I am currently attending requires more prerequisites than Miami dade does and by the time I transfer I will have most of those finished. My first question is, is there anyone who transferred to Miami dade from another CC? IF so, how many of your units transferred over? I do not want to transfer and have to start all over. I looked at the requirements and Im hoping that they will except my classes. my next question is for the A&P classes. at my school we only have to take anatomy which consist of lecture and lab, then we have to take physiology which also consists of lecture and lab, these are to separate courses. At Miami dade, they require A&P 1 and 2 with labs. do you think I will have to retake those classes because they require more? I called the advisement office but the woman told me I had to come in person to see if my classes transfer over. I clearly told her that I was all the way in California but she still insisted. thanks in advance.
