I work 12hr nights so usually its a mad dash home to see how quickly I can eat something and get to sleep.-maybe if I'm lucky I can get 5and a half hours:p
But a couple of times a month I go out to breakfast with friends from my nursing school, who work at the same hospital as me, those are the greatest mornings!
I work 12hr nights so usually its a mad dash home to see how quickly I can eat something and get to sleep.-maybe if I'm lucky I can get 5and a half hours:pI work 12 hr days, and I do the same thing! I usually read before going to sleep. After a busy day, I might get through a page or 2 before the eyes close.
I am on nightshift, 12's, right now, so I usually head home, unwind, eat then sleep. But since Christmas is coming, I have been swinging by Target on the way home to do a bit of shopping, then home to sleep. I also, if I really need to unwind, do some serious house cleaning before I sleep. When I was doing days, I loved to come home and hang out with my kids and hubby, then sleep. Hmmm, sleep seems to a reocurring theme here......

We all know how tiring it can be or are you one of those who gets energized after work? I know some nurses like to go out after work even if its 11:30pm. What's your favorite and what get's you ready for the next shift?
For me, one round with my chocolate labrador puppy gets me going. Otherwise I like to exercise, get massages and check up on all my friends. We live in a neighborhood that has sidewalks so its nice to walk around and see what the neighbors are doing with their Christmas Lights. I usually drink coffee in the morning and channel surf on the way to school. I hate talking and look for the music in the am. What do you like to do?
