i saw where you can do exams to ways, just taking the individual exams for 395, or doing a course for it for like 1395 i think it was.....
i saw where you can down load a content guide for the exam,, does this actually count for notes to study for the test or it is just a list of topics for you go look up on your on?? in real nursing school we were given powerpoints to study for the test and about 85 percent of our test came off the powerpoints, the rest was out of book and critical thinking. does ec give you 'notes" to study if your doing the 395 route?
and does that download cost anything?

You can download a content guide outline for each exam which is actually the syllabus. It tells you what subjects and textbooks and chapters to read and the percentage of what each section is of the exam. This is self study, no powerpoints or cheat sheets. Try studygroup101. They make study guides for the challenge exams and you can get the audio review too for each under ten dollars. The also have flashcards and a bunch of quizzes to work through.Study Guides
are the third party powerpoints from studygroup really good enough to pass you?

It depends on you and your level of knowledge/experience. If you have a lot of experience or expertise in a certain area, you may only need a light review. There were some areas where I wanted to do some deeper reading, so I had some textbooks to use.
I passed all my exam with just studygroup101. I don't remember any powerpoints.
