What will happen to my Tourist Visa?

i would like to ask what would happen to my tourist multiple visa if an employer is willing to petition me for an immigrant visa, in case the filing will be started will i still be able to use my tourist visa to travel??? Thank you

They usually do not ask about your work, unless they are suspect of something. And does not matter if with family or alone, it is how you present yourself at the border.

What happened with someone else does not mean that it will happen with you. And you are also going to be entering the US at a completely different port of entry than Anna.

agree with Suzanne, all depend on the officer at port of entry and how you present yourself. As I said before do not lie, answer truthfully to the questions they ask.

For sure i will not lie. i was afraid they are going to cancel my tourist visa, when they know i have pending petition. okay thanks suzanne and silverdragon.

Don't worry, they won't. The most they can do is to just simply not allow the person to come in at the port of entry and resulting in an airport-to-airport transfer back to the home country and even then, it is base on the immigration officer's discretion as Anna and Suzanne mentioned.

Besides, everything is either retrogressed or unavailable w/c means there is no venue to file AOS while in the US anyway.
