What will you do if you don't get in?

Just wondering what everyones plans are if you don't get accepted. I don't know what to do. There are no more nursing schools I can apply to in this area and with my family ,traveling a long distance is just not in the cards right now. I may just go to work as a nurse aid since I do have that certification. Maybe I will work hard and get a bunch of bills paid off!

Anyway hopefully it won't come to that and I will get the letter saying I got in. Tell me your ideas!

I Dont Want To Think That I'm Not Getting In, Thats Why I Switch From South University Bsn Program To Keiser.

Keiser Has A Better Policy Of Accepting Students Into The The Program Without The Bs And Politics.

But If All That Fails Im Going Into To Radiology Program. I Like Ct Scan Or Mri Tech.

I would be really upset :sniff:

*MAYBE* I'll try again but I'll most likely change my major, probably to respiratory therapy or dietetics. I didn't get in last year and if I don't get in this year...I don't think I can wait any longer. I can't stay at my uni for forever!

Im kind of expecting the worse, i hear about students all the time with 4.0 GPA's and mines is .8 points shy of perfect which makes a big difference when it comes down to being accepted. This is my first time applying.... but if I do not get in, Im going to keep trying. This is extremely stressful & I would recommend that you take all your pre-req's serious & not just pass with a C, shoot for an A.

I am cautiously optimistic - I'm waiting on a letter from an Accelerated BSN program - I never knew about wait lists, impacted programs, and all the craziness until I started prereq classes this semester. All I can think to do if not accepted is broaden my application field, look into entry-level MSN programs - and find a job that doesn't suck out my soul so much (currently working retail).
