I received an offer for an interview for a CRNA program!!! I was wondering what to wear. Is a dress suit to formal, or should I just wear dress pants, a dress shirt, a tie, and a sweater (I'm a guy). What did other interviewees that are reading wear? Any other interview advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm also a guy. I wore a suit and tie. I was scheduled for 3 interviews, but cancelled the last 2 because I was accepted at the first school which was also my first choice. Use this forum to look up interview questions using the search option. I actually printed out several of the posts that listed interview questions and went over them many, many times in the days leading up to my interview. Good luck!

I don't think one can ever be hurt by dressing formally.

I had one of my interviews today and both guys wore dark suits. One guy had a tie the other one did not. However, they both looked nice. As mentioned above, you can't go wrong with a nice suit and tie.

I thought a suit was a bit much so I went business casual - which was what the people interviewing were wearing so it felt right. I'm just not a suit type of guy. I hope to never wear a suit again in my life! Good luck in your interviews.

Dress slacks, sport coat, and tie might make a nice alternative to a suit. Sort of in between business casual and business suit.

adcoms like to see you looking good.. NEVER hurts to wear suit (which i did).. you look good and feel confident.. mentally, i believe it helps.. but would not recommend bus. casual - dress for success.. if you really want this, then stand out...
good luck

I was once told "Dress for the job you want, not the job you already have..."
I wouldn't recommend going in wearing scrubs and a cap, though.
Do wear a suit if you have one. dress communictaes many things, most importantly how much you value your opportunity to be there. I wore a suit, and I hate them.
