Hey guys and gals. What do you guys think my chances of getting into CRNA school would be with the following stats.
GPA: 3.75
GRE: 1300 ( 780 quant and 520 verbal) While I am very pleased with my overall score, I would have liked the verbal to be higher. Is there a chance that my verbal score could hurt me? I am just glad that stupid test is over with.
Experience: So far 16 months in the CVICU at a very high acuity hospital. Lots of fresh open hearts, tandems, lvad's, and transplants. I will have 26 months of experience by the time school starts.
I will have my ccrn next month. Other certs are bls, acls, and pals.
Is there anything else I can do to enhance my chances?
Thanks for your suggestions.

Sounds like you are very competitive but I'm sure it depends on where you're applying

I think your chances are great to be admitted. Your GRE scores are great. Your gpa is good. You have the minimum required length of experience. The acuity of your unit sounds good and the fact that it is CVICU is a plus==bc of the drips, etc. Did you say you already have the CCRN? So, you have proven that you are capable of making good grades (GRE and GPA). If you take the CCRN, this will help prove that you have the critical care knowledge/medical knowledge. Good luck.

LoveICU, make sure you let us know how the admission process goes for you! In my opinon, you are an ideal candidate - 95% chance of acceptance seems accurate to me.
Gosh, I wish you were on the admissions committee :-). Thanks. I'll let everyone know. Good luck all.
Hold on a sec... LoveICU, I thought I mistakenly addressed you.. but your response was... I think I need some sleep.
