I took the TEAS exam this morning and got an adjusted individual score of 89.4% overall. I got a 97.5 on reading, 97.8 on math, 83.3 on science, and 83.6 on the English.
I currently have a GPA of 4.0 and I am taking the 3 prereqs for the nursing program now..which are English Comp I, General Psychology, and A&P I.
I have to attend a health information session tomorrow after which I can apply for the internal transfer into the (ADN) Nursing program out of health sciences-general studies.
I am super nervous about the whole process and really hope it all goes well. I am just wondering what scores everyone got on their TEAS and if you got accepted or not into your program.
Thanks!!

Not to get off topic but I'm really surprised that chemistry is not a pre-req in your school.
In my area, maybe half of the schools require Chemistry. It's not terribly surprising. It seems to be a source of dissension amongst varying nursing programs. Not even all the BSN programs require it, which is baffling to me. Seems like a pretty big disparity in knowledge of new grads depending if their program required Chem or not.
I wanted to leave an update since the last post I made. I re-took the TEAS again and did MUCH better. I bought the unofficial book online with the 5 practice tests and that seemed to do the trick. The first time I got a 70.1 (Proficient) and was in the 67th percentile
78% in reading
73% in math
70% in science
50% in English and language.
The second time around I got an 83% (Advanced) in the 93rd percentile
90% in reading -95th percentile
87% in math - 86th percentile
75% in science - 90th percentile
83% in english and language - 94th percentile
So a little more practice goes a long way it seems! I applied to Capital Community College (Three Rivers was my second choice), and Massasoit Community College. My gpa is about a 3.3 and I got an A and B in AP 1 and 2. I got into Capital Community College in CT and I am still waiting to hear from Massasoit within the next couple weeks.
First attempt
Reading 85.7%
Math 66.7%
Science 77.1%
English 70.0%
Adjusted individual score 76%
I have a 3.97 science gpa and did not get into the program I wanted. I was told to improve my score. One mistake I made was during the math portion I spent way to much time on one problem, so I ran out of time and had to guess at random on the last 8-10 problems.
First attempt:
Adjusted total individual score: 84%, ranked 94th percentile nationally/87th percentile in my program
Reading: 97.6%, 99 national/99 program
Mathematics: 76.7%, 66 national/51 program
Science: 75.0%, 90 national/81 program
English: 93.3%, 99 national/98 program
Second attempt:
Adjusted total individual score: 94.7%, ranked 99th percentile nationally/99th percentile in my program
Reading: 100%, 99 national/99 program
Mathematics: 96.7%, 99 national/98 program
Science: 91.7%, 99 national/99 program
English: 90.0% (I overthought the questions on this one, and ended up doing worse, lol. Who does that?!), 98 national/96 program
I had a 3.996 GPA (1 A-, and the rest were As), and I did get into the one and only program I wanted to get into. We recently had our orientation, and were told that the average GPA for the incoming class was 3.9, so I have to believe that the TEAS score is what put me over the edge because I had no supplementals whatsoever (no 2nd language, no documented healthcare experience, etc.).
Hi I am new to this site...I just put in my application for the lpn program at PHCC. I was wondering if anyone knew if I had a chance of getting in with a 64.7 teas score? I have a 3.93 gpa in all my pre req's and I am finished all my pre & co req's. I am stressing over it big time...I don't know why I did so bad on the teas, I did so good in all my classes.
I am a foreigner.... Here are my results- 1st Attempt
Adjusted Individ. Total Score 70.7%-proficient
National-67%
Program 67%
Reading- 54.8
Math- 90.0
Science 77.1
English-63.3
I'm ok with my math and science, but I didn't refresh anything about English. In 25 days going to take it 2nd time. My test had a big portion on Chemistry... Especially formulas. So that is what I am going to refresh. And I will get online practice; people say it helps.
Also, TIMING! wow, I didn't know time can go by so fast. Especially, on reading part.
GPA is 4.0... Let's see how it goes =)
I scored a 68.7% on the Teas exam that I took at a local community college. I am praying that I get in to the right school!!!!! I haven't found out yet. Actually I haven't even applied to 2 out of the 3 schools that I am hoping to attend yet. The deadline for USA was March 15th (I have already applied there), and the application cycle opens on April 1st for FSCC and I plan on applying to BSCC on April 1st on the same day. I will be posting updates throughout this application cycle!:)

In my area, only about half the schools require Chemistry. It's not really all that surprising, a lot of schools do not require it.
