nope. my son loves the tape! he is 4. he takes it from me and tapes his legs together, to hop around. he puts tape on the wall to make a race track for his hotwheels cars. he tapes anything and everything. i should just fill his christmas stocking with tape. he'd be happy.
love, rose
Yep and it would be cheap too!!

I have used it to fix the holes in my scrub top pockets. I goes through the washer and dryer, I've even ironed over them. Sticks great and I don't have to sew or get rid of an otherwise perfectly good scrub top.

I have so much plastic tape around here its not funny. I mean it,, its REALLY not funny. I must start emptying my pockets.
I just taped my headphones for my computer the other night. They broke in the middle of the head band.
I've put up christmas lights on my windows one year.
I've used it to wrap christmas packages.
My daughter uses it wrapped around her hand as a lint remover for her Pcoat.
How's that for ingenuity.
I will have to try it on my pockets though, i have a few that need stiched, maybe i wont have to :rotfl:
Its better than duct tape

Where I work, we carry portable phones. They're a pain, but better than yelling down the corridors (which happens, anyway--this is WV, after all, and we have a God-given right to act like hillbillies). Nurses seem to be especially bad about not carrying their phones, but they'll bust your chops if you take a patient off the floor without notifying them (I have to agree with that, but it would sure save time if they carried their phones) or when you return a patient from a test (I like to believe that when I'm a nurse, if I want to know whether a patient is back, I'll look in his room).
Our phones have a normal, digital phone ring, or you can set them to sound like a pager (annoying) or to ring continuously (very annoying). so when people leave their phones laying around, we change the ringer for them.
One of our male nurses likes to wrap your phone in a whole roll of plastic tape. I suppose you could deal with incorrigible offenders by changing the ringer and wrapping it in tape.
I once used trach tie to hold my pants up.

How about using plastic tape around your chest to increase cleavage. Models do it. :chuckle
I use it to fix holes in my uniform pockets, too. It holds up in the washer and dryer.
I have also seen it used with combative/confused pts. They wrap the tape around the forehead and around the matress. Yes, I know it sounds awful, but it does help keep the pt safe. This particular pt had 4 pt restraints but kept bucking his body to move the hospital bed. He was knocking over iv poles, bedside tables, etc, etc. You could forget about starting an iv. They did give him some Im injections, but they take a while to take effect.
