What do your schedules look like??

I am applying next spring... so I have some key* classes coming up. lol

Now I have a 90.93% in A&P I think I need to get in a "safer" zone of an A!!...my A&P is not divided into I and II, its a 5 credit class!!

Summer 07:

  • Fundamentals of Chem
  • Organic Chem
  • Art Survey (ick dumb gen. ed.)

Fall 07:

  • Micro
  • Intro to Prof. Nursing
  • Sociology (again!! since my credit from another school didnt Xfer)
  • College Writing II
  • Ethics

Spring 08:

  • Child Psych
  • Philosophy
  • Intuitive Calc :barf01:
  • Media Power Culture uck..

my spring is filled with nonsense... i need to stay full time for health insurance:lol2:

A&P II (online with labs done at school)

Human Growth & Development (AGAIN because it has been 5 years boo!)

After that I am done with pre-reqs and co-reqs and I just hope and pray that I am accepted for Spring 08. I will know in late Oct of 07.

some intro to nursing course that lasts for 4 days

Fall 2007:

9 credit intro to nursing course along with the clinical

I pray I pass microbiology this year otherwise I'm going to try to squeeze it into the fall semester.

Do you guys think it would be too much to take A&P1, Micro, Chem, and Human Growth and Development in one semester? Or instead of Human Growth I can take Nutrition. Or do you think those 3 sciences in one semester is too much? Sorry for so many questions, obviously registration for fall is soon. Thanks.

Ouch, that sounds like a lot of science classes Pumpkin. I would not do it personally, because you still have all those labs too, and all of those sciences courses can be pretty tough. Are you working? Have you ever taken A&P or chem in high school?

I took A&P in high school. I am not working but I do have a family to care for. I think you are right, it may be too much. I'll probably just take Micro, A&P I, Human Growth, and Nutrition. My mom has to watch my daughter when I am at school, and I was trying to pick a schedule that would be easy on her.

Start actual nursing school this summer! I'm taking pharm, pathophys, and ethical/legal issues in nursing. We don't start clinicals til semester 2.

some kind of fluff course cos ill be done with all my pre-reqs but I need at least six credits to get student loans.

I would love to be able to take the microbiology during fall or spring but I don't want to do that because A&P is so IMPORTANT. at least to me.

Other than that I am good to go ..I think I may take micro in the fall ..just to make sure i stay enrolled at the cc...

Thats if I get in Nursing school?!!?!? I applied for part time so in case I dont pass all these classes or anything else should come up I can still be in Nursing school and get this BSN started!

This semester I'm taking Medical Spanish and I'm finished w/ all my pre reqs. :) I'm taking the summer off and starting Nursing I this fall! I can hardly wait! :)
