What are we doing?

I haven't been posting on the board for the past month. I've been working full time night shift this summer. I love the job, but when I'm not at work, I'm tired all the time. I guess I haven't adjusted to being up all night. My stepson stayed with us for about a month and a half. Taking care of him was time consuming. I've been trying to get ready for my College Algebra and A&P classes in the fall. Math is not a strong point for me!

Hi y'all,

My husband, my son and I went hiking and camping in Guadalupe National Park, in Texas and Calsbad Caverns in New Mexico.

I have been buying my books over the net, trying to get the best price. Also been getting my immunizations, TB test and physical. Had my physical last week and was diagnosed with an enlarged thyroid, now waiting on test results and crossing my fingers, as my Mom was diagnosed with Graves Disease 5 years ago.

Been doing the assigned reading for classes as well as some leisure reading. My classes start the 30th, we have an orientation with the various agencies providing clinicals the 29th.

Boy there sure is alot to do to get ready, still need to get my uniforms and shoes. :eek:

I can't believe that it's time to start school already. I leave for school Sept 3rd. Until then, I'll keep working full time as a nursing assistant. This job, although definitely not glamorous, is a great one to have. B/C I never worked in a hospital before, I needed the experience of working with patients everyday, concentrating on the person instead of the academic. I've also gotten to work with some awesome nurses, who have given great advice.

I have been shopping(new apartment). Got some of books online. Working out and finding my way around a new city. I also have been watching some soap operas.;-) They are so cheesy!

Hi everyone!

I've been relaxing with my hubby and my 3 year old son. Cleaning the house because i know it will be a while before I get a chance to wipe out any cupboards again! Not that I'll miss it that much:p I am considering weeding my garden again soon...nah, I go for that wild look. hee hee

Hi everyone:

I have pretty much been doing the same as a lot of others on here. Just relaxing before the shock of back to school hits. Going to the beach, enjoying time with the kids, CLEANING!! and spending time with friends and family that I won't be seeing for a while when it all starts again. I've been spending some time on this site since I found it recently and really think it's great!.. Take care everyone!

Well I have been busy with A&P II class. I got an 'A' in it. :) I won't be starting the nursing program like I had planned. I was accepted into the ADN program and now I can't do it because I have the financial aid didn't go through because they said I am on suspension because at a 2 year college you can only get financial aid up to a certain amount of credit hours and I am over that amount so my plan now is to go towards my BSN since I already have most of the classes. Also been busy with my kids. :) School year starts on Aug. 27th and I will be taking GOVT 2302 and Abnormal Psychology.

This weekend I am going home (2 hour drive) to see my parents, and play golf!!!!

Also my little brother (high school freshman) has been put on the varsity football team, so I am going to go watch him tonight :)

Can't Wait! I need a day on the golf course~
