What if....?

Since some of us are stuck due to retrogression(US), do plans of working with other countries(Ireland, Middle East,Singapore,Australia,Canada,etc.) affect our present application assuming you have already started it (packet 1-3)? Does an employer in US, generally, require nurses to stay in their present job as staff nurses in their respective countries or would be supportive of alternative career moves working elsewhere while waiting for US?:uhoh3:

I think it will depend on the employer and the length of contract you are looking at for the other country and how long it will take to register in the other country. I personally do not think much is going to happen until after the elections but does not mean things will not move along will just be slow.

This is just my opinion but a lot depends on your US employer and PD

Depends on the contract that you originally signed for the US employer. They can hold you to being available for when the visa is issued, and if unavailable, they can charge you the cancellation fee that is usually quite high in the contract. Some as high as $30,000.

You are going to need to check the contract that you signed very carefully before doing anything else.
