Australia and **NZ** forum. The NZ one, but im fairly sure the principles and exam would be fairly similar in most countries, especially Australia.
It (the exam) used to be called "States".
You'll get clearer answers if you post clear questions... hence my question marks.
You just posted "the principles and exam would be fairly similar in most countries, especially Australia". Once again, there **IS** no exam for registration in Australia.
Not sure how it works with other countries, but if you are a british RN and want to register in Au or NZ, the Nursng and Midwifery Council here(UK) sends the transcripts over to their nursing and midwifery council, you pay a fee, they check that the transcripts match their requirements and you're allowed to work. There is no final exam, no NCLEX or anything like that.

Whilts I'm not sitting it until about July I was flicking through some previous questions (which dont come with answers) and it made me feel like I know so little.I want to start studying soon so I can cover everything.. well I'll never cover everything.. but I'll get a lot more done.. but I don't even know what or how.. I've been awful at my exams so far when it comes to studying.
What are some tips?
How'd you find the exam?
I think you are refering to the competency exam in queensland composed of Test A(written) and Test B(practical/clinical).
I am in the process to apply too and i am wondering what i would study for such exam.
In new zealand in order to actually become an RN you have to sit a final exam run by the nursing council, this is what I am refering to - or any nursing finals in general.
Are you going to school in NZ, or are you already qualified?
Because if are you aready a nurse, you don't need to sit an exam.
