What steps should I take ??

Published

HI my name is Monsy

A little background on myself, I have a 2.78 cumulative GPA I know that it is horrible but I still have not completed some of my pre reqs and I am in my sophomore year of college. I wanted to do the traditional route in the school that I am attending but my grades and not being able to finish my pre reqs on time did not allow me to.

I know that I have to transfer to another school if I want to finish with a nursing degree but I do not know if I should start studying for the TEAS or HESI REACH2 or NLN PAX which are required for my applications.

I still have A&P 1 and 2, micro bio, and development assessment.

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO ??!!!

You still have some very important knowledge pre req. courses that are systems, related to nursing programs...... You need to no offense, but really buckle down......I don't know if you can get your goal high enough for a brick and mortar BSN program, I'd hope at least ASN, consider upper mobility, There is nothing wrong with LVN/LPN entry route, which also affords upper. Mobility...... Some of the best nurses I know we're LVNs, gaining some solid clinical experiences, and upward mobility to a RN program .....

best wishes

Happy New Years

Can you not do both?

Can you not do both?

I thought I should take it a step at a time since I need to get high grades on my pre reqs. Like should just concentrate or just do both

Both. I'm taking my pre-req's and about 10 minutes a day I'm using my TEAS Mastery app before bed. It's not like you need to spend hours and hours studying for it, but the app is helping me see my weak areas and what to focus on when it's time to buckle down before the test (I'm taking it in May I think).

Thanks for answering :)
