So I'm in the nursing pool currently, I've completed all of my pre-requisites except for the HLH, psych, Chm 110 & micro which I'm taking between spring '16 and summer '16 semester. I have an A in A&P1 and a B in math for health sciences. I'm taking the NLN in January so I can study over winter break but I'm pretty sure I'm going to score well because I've been studying for it so I believe I will get into the nursing program for a fall 2016 start.
Has as anyone recently graduated or joined the program that can tell me what to expect from clinicals? The first nursing course is 8 credits! Was it difficult? Any and all advice and input is appreciated

I didn't see that option; isn't being a pre nursing student the same? I see similar topics posted here

I'm at Owens currently in 170. If the programs are similar you should have several non clinical weeks first doing lecture and labs-skills check offs (2 strikes your out type). As soon as clinicals start you'll have first week to get familiar first day. Then twice a week starting with care for one person and practicing skills especially assessment then med lab check off, followed by med delivery and two patients each day with care plans and concept maps.
