Hello! I was just accepted to a CNA course starting in December. They have requested that we purchase scrubs to wear during our clinical training, though they didn't specify what to buy. Does anyone have any suggestions on what scrubs to buy? What color? Any help will be appreciated!

Double-check if there is a uniform policy you're just not aware about. If they truly don't have a preference, have fun! As a female, I prefer mock-wrap tops, myself, or regular scrubs with contrast trim. Since this is for school, I wouldn't go too nuts on print tops. Too loose is better than too tight: you want to be able to twist, turn, lift, and bend without fearing that you'll tear your scrubs and/or expose yourself anywhere.

I would definitely clarify with your program before buying scrubs about the type. Even if you don't have to buy a specific brand most of the time there is at least a specific color they want. Maybe they forgot to give you this information but maybe not. I do like cherokee brand. You may just need to go to a uniform store and try on some brands to get an idea of fit and type.

Definitely check with the school. I had to pester mine about everything as far as supplies go. "Do I need certain scrubs?" "Yes." "Do they need to be a specific color?" "Yes." "Which color?" "Ceil blue." "Do I need a stethoscope?" "Yes." "Do I need a blood pressure cuff?" "Yes." So on and so forth. So I would ask, because they probably do have a policy.
As far as brands go, I love my Dansko and Grey's Anatomy. Cherokee is also good, as another poster said. Go and try some on, see which ones you like. And I agree that you should probably stay away from the prints until after you complete the class.
You'll have fun! Shopping for scrubs is a nice activity. :)
