I see that many people say to choose an ACNP school that offers placement with preceptors for clinical. So what schools DO offer this? Also, if I am interested in an ICU focus, can all of my clinicals be in ICU or do I need to rotate to different areas?

University of Pittsburgh is one.
Most (all...) schools will require you to do clinical in at least a few specialty areas. My program required hospitalist, other medical specialty, surgical specialty, ICU, elective, etc, for our rotations. I would argue that the more specialties you are exposed to, the more well rounded a provider you will be. Doing all of your rotations in ICU would make you quite a myopic NP.

Oregon Health & Sciences University provides clinical placements for students in ALL of their NP programs, including ACNP. ACNP students rotate through several of the acute care units at the OHSU hospital including at least one of 4 ICU specialties. They are a B&M program with some hybrid courses.
University California - San Francisco also offers ACNP with clinical placements and offers specialty tracks including critical care and ed/trauma focused. Once again this program is B&M and not online/hybrid program.
University of Pennsylvania is another B&M program that finds clinical placements for students and allows ACNP students to chose major/minor focus areas during their course of study.
Not sure if there are any online/hybrid only programs that provide preceptors/placements and allow specializing, but the good brick and mortar programs (and there are more than what I've listed) *do* provide quality clinical placements.

I think not manh online programs provide placements for you. The schools I know that provide placement are all B&M. If you remain employed in a hospital as an RN, you might find NP connections and ask them to precept you. I know my employer has a list of schools that they have affiliations with and students from these schools have a better chance of placement.
