I just got accepted into the fall semester of an ADN program. It has also been a semester or two since I had A&P I & II. I just wanted to know what are the main topics I should brush up on going into the program.
A lot of people say not to bother because you'll get a refresher when you start and you need to just enjoy the freedom while it lasts. However, I can't help but start brushing up now. I've been reviewing my A&P, medical terminology, and medical dosage calculations. I also got the Saunders NCLEX-RN review book, although I've only kind of skimmed it thus far.

I'm in the same boat - Orientation is on Wednesday! - but I have been told by Instructors, Students, and even Seasoned Nurses to just relax and think more about my birthday plans (July) than making sure I can recite my entire A&P text (even though that's all I want to sit around and do this summer LOL). Like the others have mentioned, I did purchase a Med Math book from Amazon and it's helpful. I received an NCLEX book as an early birthday present so I'm reviewing that as well. Best of luck to you!
