I'm reading up about an acute rehab facility and the website mentions "otho" patients. What exactly is an "otho patient"? Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing somebody left an R out somewhere.

Oh, it is ortho which is short for orthopedic which means stuff related to musko/skeletal system.

It would have to be ortho (for orthopedic).

Spell Check please!!
Must mean Ortho.
that's what I thought originally but in multiple areas of the website, they referred it as "otho". and when I google it, the only thing that comes up is various jobs that are geriatric/otho or otho-neuro.
Thanks anyhow!

In spell checking while designing their website, someone probably hit "ignore all" instead of "change all". Either that, or whoever designs and updates their website isn't actually savvy in medical terminology, and mistakenly used otho instead of ortho. Third possibility, they are making obscure Hobbit references.
