Hello, I was wondering what pre-req classes besides the science classes are factored into the nursing GPA?

That really depends on your school. I am currently attending a community college for my ADN; they look at all of your prerequisites: English, history, psychology, everything. I have also applied for an accelerated BSN program at a private school, and they weight both your overall GPA for every class and the GPA for the A&Ps and Microbiology.

every school varies....at my top choice school your sciences, and a hand full of other classes are looked at but you get points for completing a certain amount of your BSN track classes too....GPA of these classes arent figured in as long as you completed them with a C or better.....

There is some variance from one school to another, but most will factor in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and chemistry, at the very least. Others include English, psych, and/or other classes. Your best resource will be the web page for the program(s) to which you plan to apply.

I'm in Texas and for me, the pre/co req classes that count toward my nursing GPA are Anatomy, Physiology (we don't have A&P together, it's two separate classes), Microbiology, Pharmacology, Statistics, Speech, English Comp, one fine art elective, Psych, and growth and development. I'm sure it's different for each school. You should be able to go to your college website and look for the degree plan. That will outline everything needed.
