What is Physiology like by itself?

Published

I am seeing so many students who took A&P together but my school separates them. Does anyone know what Physiology is like by itself? Anatomy was hard for me but I was told not to worry about it too much because it is a cadaver school and those programs are harder. This scares me to death!!LOL

Any idea what to expect? TIA

:yeahthat: . What luvmy3kids said!

By the way, I enjoyed physiology more than anatomy

My school has A and P seperate too. It was nice because in Anatomy, I could just concentrate on the "what and where" and in Phys it was the "how and why".

You start out at the cellular level and work your way through all the different body systems, each individually. It's kind of nice to put it all together in the end and figure out how everything actually works.

Good luck to you. The classes are hard enough on their own, I think seperating them actually makes it a bit easier. JMHO

I completely agree. I took Anatomy first and then Physiology and then Micro. I think Anatomy was hardest. So many things to memorize. But I loved cadaver dissection - which was a shock to me because I was sure I would hate it.

Physiology was probably easier . . but not easy.

I really liked Micro.

I had great teachers for all three. And think they should be separate.
