What is the physical exam requirement prior to CPNE?

Does anyone have a link for the EC physical exam / check up that we have to take prior to the CPNE? Or any info on the physical itself? Just a basic doctor's ok?

The form for the exam is included in the CPNE application. I went to a walk-in clinic and they filed it on my insurance, which was good because of the cost of the lab work (titers for MMR and chicken pox and the cost of the tetorifice shot

Thanks dorry, I heard that there was a physical with lab work and an illegal drug pee test? I may have to pay all this out of pocket arghh.

I did not have to do any blood work, I have all my shot records. No urin drug test either.

Mine was just a basic physical.

Thanks nalon, come to think of it, I may have had to do this stuff a few years ago for LPN school (shot records etc). I know there was a urine test done and TB and Tetorifice shots as well.

It depends on which testing site you choose. I went thru spac for my cpne and yes I had to do an extended physical which included a urine drug sample along with a physical exam from my MD. Just depends. And it cost me around 60 for the background check and lab testing for them.
