I live in Cass County, just between Logansport & Kokomo. (We're neighbors, ChristianRN:p !I am a stay at home mom/student & decided to go back to school for a career change (from my pre- kids days). I attend IU Kokomo & am hoping to enter their BSN class this fall.
Hi Heather! You are in my home county. I was born and raised there, but have been living in Indy for the last 6 years. We just visited my Mom yesterday, took my daughter to the parade.
I am entering an LPN program in January at Ivy Tech Columbus (about 30 minutes south of me) The ultimate goal is for me to have my BSN, but to get there I have to break it down into small steps. Biggest thing for us was I could afford not to work for only a short time, so lpn school it is first! :chuckle
Nice to 'meet' you all, and Happy Holidays to everyone!
Hey Crystal, You and I are neighbors. I'm also in Fort Wayne. Glad to have you here. Where are you working right now?
I have been an RN for 35 years. I remember when I graduated thinking that when I hit the 1 year mark I would be much more seasoned, and when I made it to 5 years I would be a veteran. I never thought beyond that.
