Hi, all. I'm a new grad wanting to join a professional organization. Does anyone have a favorite?
I'm looking for...
1. Something fairly nonspecific. I don't have a job yet, so I'm looking for something with a publication that covers a lot of ground (e.g. clinical, research, professional, and management topics.)
2. Something with very frequent publications. I like to learn new things. Twice a month would be optimal...assuming that it can't be daily :)
3. Something that looks good on a resume when applying for a variety of hospital and clinic positions.
4. Something with free CEU's
5. Something with a new grad membership discount.
Thanks to you all!

ANA definitely is the starting point. If you have your BS, and great grades, Sigma Theta Tau.
I didn't even think of the ANA...I was looking at all the little specialty organizations. DUH!
Thanks for the replies!
It's $175, unless I get the limited membership that doesn't get me any publications!
