What is the order of removing Contact Precaution material?

i have always heard you remove top to bottom (cap, goggles, mask, gown then gloves). i'm seeing some conflicting answers.

CONTACT ISOLATION PPE REMOVING

1- UNTIES THE GOWN @ THE WAIST

2- REMOVE THE GLOVES

3- UNTIE THE GOWN @ THE NECK

4- DISCARD THE GOWN

5- REMOVE THE MASK AND GOGGLE

6- PERFORM HANDWASHING

I guess the most important thing to remeber is to take off your gloves first!!!!!!!Also I dont understand why would you remove the eye shield first instead of the gown..

these is contact isolation and the gown need to to removed before the goggle and mask are less contaminated.:typing:argue:

ok i see,i just hope that one day there will be one,written in the stone order of donning and removing the ppe so the future grads wont have to go through this hassle and insanity!!!!!!!!:nurse:
